Nicklas Eiselt is a PhD student at the Technical University of Denmark. Within the Metro-Access and Short Range Communications group, he is developing his Work in digital signal processing for high-capacity links in the framework of the Marie Curie European Industrial Doctorate ABACUS project. Under the supervision of J.J. Vegas Olmos and Idelfonso Tafur Monroy at DTU, and Michael Eiselt at ADVA Optical Networking, Nicklas has been a runner up for the Best Student Paper Corning Award 2016, and half way his PhD, he couldn’t be happier with his choice for a PhD.
